The Nutcracker Syndrome: Rare Cause of Pediatric Abdominal Pain

Nutcracker syndrome results from compression of the left renal vein (LRV), usually in fork formed by abdominal aorta and superior mesenteric artery (SMA), leading to stenosis aorto-mesenteric part dilation its distal part. We report case a 10-year-old child, with no family history disease, diabetes or hematuria. He was admitted our clinic for paroxysmal pain epigastric area that not improved usual analgesics, associated vomiting without transit disorders hematuria, had been evolving 10 days prior his admission. The clinical examination normal, normal biological check-up, CT scan favor syndrome. treatment symptomatic good evolution.
 is rare entity, be evoked diagnostic range etiologies unexplained pain.
